100th CES Airmen help families, ensure memories live on

A radio is set up at one of three base stations around Madingley American Cemetery Oct. 16, 2013, at Madingley, near Cambridge, England, to measure points in longitude, latitude and elevation. Airmen from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering flight are working on a project to annotate the exact location of each of the 3,812 marble headstones. All the data from the project will be made into an electronic map that allows families and friends of those Americans lost in World War II to pinpoint the location of their resting place.
