728th AMS supports German Army arrival at Incirlik Air Base

Airman 1st Class William Kooyman, 728th Air Mobility Squadron passenger services technician, marshals a staircase truck up to a French air force Airbus A310 that landed at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey with a troop of German soldiers Jan. 9, 2014. The 728th AMS has been providing support to the NATO Patriots to Turkey mission for more than a year. The soldiers aboard this aircraft will travel to Kahramanmaras, Turkey where they will replace deployed German soldiers currently manning two Patriot missile batteries set up to increase Turkey’s air defense capabilities against Syrian ballistic missile threats.
