728th AMS supports German Army arrival at Incirlik Air Base
U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 728th Mobility Squadron and a member of the German Army download cargo onto a 60k loader at Jan. 9, 2014, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. More than 100 German soldiers and associated cargo will be transported to Kahramanmaras, Turkey where they will assume responsibility for manning two Patriot missile batteries. The German government recently approved a year-long extension for German support of the ongoing NATO mission to increase Turkey’s air defense capabilities against Syrian ballistic missile threats.
