NDI protects lives, saves money

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Bradley Johnson, 100th Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection journeyman from Bakersfield, Calif., dips a KC-135 Stratotanker horizontal hinge bracket into a hydrophilic-remover bath Feb. 11, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. This bath removes any excess penetrant that a simple rinse could not. While the remover strips off penetrant on the surface of a part, any penetrant that has seeped into a crack will remain.
