100th AMXS keeps jets in sky
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jessica Tharp, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman from Lancaster, Ohio, performs the pre-start checklist for an engine run on a KC-135 Stratotanker March 4, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. When aerospace propulsion journeymen finish troubleshooting a problem and have established what was wrong, they remove and replace the broken components with serviceable ones. After maintenance is complete they perform engine run tests to make sure the problem is fixed and the engine is operational. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gina Randall/Released)
