Stepping Up: 100th LRS leaders provide SAPR training

Sandra Ruiz, center, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Asset Management superintendent from Mascoutah, Ill., focused on the phenomenology of rape during a sexual assault prevention and response two-day training leadership course March 14, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Ruiz explained the study of structures of consciousness, as experienced from the first-person point of view. She discussed how victims may feel isolated and alienated; survivors have suffered a life-changing event and the effects may last for months if not years.
