Stepping Up: 100th LRS leaders provide SAPR training
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Karin Pastian, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Individual Protective Equipment section chief from Garland, Texas, discusses rape-trauma syndrome during a sexual assault prevention and response two-day training leadership course March 14, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Pastian’s role was to explain the aftereffects of rape — how a victim would feel the trauma of what has happened to them. The course covered many topics including what to look out for in their fellow Airmen, how to help, what a victim may be feeling and the options they have.
