Polish pilots take to the skies with US counterparts
Polish air force Tech. Sgt. Piotr Kotlarek, 32nd Tactical Air Base crew chief, performs pre-flight checks on an F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft before a training mission with U.S. pilots, April 2, 2014, at Lask Air Base, Poland. These combined training exercises strengthen bilateral defense ties between the U.S. and Poland as NATO allies. The Polish air force implemented the use of F-16s to their inventory within the last ten years and is currently hosting twelve U.S. F-16s assigned to Aviano Air Base, Italy.
