Breathe easy: Firefighters train on SCBA to ensure own, others lives kept safe
Watch Manager Adrian Delaney, left, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department firefighter from Elmswell, Suffolk, holds a ladder as Firefighter Jason French, 100th CES Fire Department from Lakenheath, Suffolk, climbs during self-contained breathing apparatus training April 14, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. Throughout April, firefighters here are undergoing annual training on respiratory protection and working in pairs through a course of six stations including a dummy drag, litter carry and hose hoist. The training is designed to determine the amount of air consumption by each firefighter, to work out how long a tank of oxygen would last them in a fire.
