U.S. service members honored at Memorial Day event in Suresnes.
SURESNES, France -- Two hundred French and U.S. service members and civilians gathered at Suresnes Cemetery, just outside Paris May 25, 2014, to honor fallen Americans who fought and died during the two world wars. The cemetery was first established in 1917 for U.S. soldiers and was officially dedicated by President Woodrow Wilson on Memorial Day in 1919. Thirty-three years later, an additional grave plot was created for 24 unknown soldiers who perished during WWII. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Reba Good)
