KMCC Green Roof

Planting and installation of landscape materials on the KMCC Visitors Quarters green roof nears completion, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 17, 2008. In addition to providing a pleasant terrace view for guests, the green roof will reduce heating and cooling costs of a similarly-sized facility with a traditional roof by up to 40 percent.
