Airman 1st Class Shawn Carter, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Management Flight technician, drags a fuel line from an R-11 vehicle to a KC-135 Stratotanker at RAF Mildenhall. Fuels management Airmen kept the lifeblood of airpower flowing by delivering more than 35 million gallons of JP-8 in fiscal 2007. Airman Carter recently returned from a four-month deployment to Southwest Asia with the distinction of pumping the most fuel, more than 7 million gallons, at that location.
