Maintaining quality fuel to keep the fleet airborne
Senior Airman Andrew Hunn, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Management Flight lab technician, tests newly-delivered JP-8 for the proper mix of additives at RAF Mildenhall. Fuels management Airmen must ensure the highest quality standards with each fuel delivery, often millions of gallons a week. Last fiscal year, the flight kept the lifeblood of airpower flowing by delivering more than 35 million gallons of JP-8 to every aircraft touching down here.
