Barrier Maintenance

Airman 1st Class Brandon Abrahamson, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Power Production, checks the battery of a generator using a multimeter. Monthly checks a performed on 28 real property generators around base, which are attached to buildings. Power production technicians are also responsible for maintaining 20 mobile generators. The generators are run for one hour each month under load bank (artificial load) and a yearly inspection is performed, when the oil and filters are changed and an electrical inspection is done.
