Globemasters arrive at Mildenhall

A C-17 Globemaster III from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., touches down Feb. 28 at RAF Mildenhall. The jet ferried Airmen of the 817th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron to their new deployed home here. The unit typically performs heavy airlift operations from Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, but has relocated to Mildenhall due to extensive renovation on the 10,000 foot runway there.
