Fuel: No flying without the good stuff
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Darren Albrecht, 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron fuel laboratory technician, performs a bottle method test. In the Air Force, this test is used to determine the solid content of the fuel and the time it takes for the fuel to pass through the filter. This method is the most accurate way to test for solids in fuel. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Tammie Moore)
