AF recognizes Airman for emergency response efforts
WELLS, Nev. – A damaged car sits in front of the Wells Chalet Bar and Casino surrounded by debris in Wells, Nev., after a 6.0 magnitude earthquake Feb. 21, 2008. Senior Airman Randal Kyllo, then assigned to the 3rd Contracting Squadron in Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, was visiting his family in Winnemucca, Nev., when the earthquake hit.
