ANG build Turkish park
Local Turkish children play on the newly renovated park that was completed Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009. The two-month project was a huge success due to the efforts of Air National Guardsmen who were in Turkey on temporary duty supporting air operations for Central Command. The lot started life as a neglected lot covered in trash and rainwater and now sports new playground equipment that will provide enjoyment for the local children for years to come.
