Viola!
Mesut Dikel, an Ebru art instructor, peels back paper from a tray to expose a flora design during a class Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Arts and Crafts Center here. Mr. Dikel has been creating Ebru art, a unique Turkish art form, for nearly 24 years. Ebru, or paper marbling, has been practiced in Turkey since the 15th century and uses all-natural products, from the brushes to the paints. The center plans to offer the class monthly.
