The Daily Grind
Staff Sgt. Robert Hanet, 52nd Component Maintenance Squadron, grinds the blades from the core of an F100 compressor engine. New blades are ground because they must match the exact length of damaged blades that are removed from the compressor. Sergeant Hanet is on temporary duty here from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. (US Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Lawrence Herstel)
