Boy Scouts reclaim wetland
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Trees, branches, blackberry bushes and other shrubbery cover an area on base near the flightline where a pond used to be. This “before” picture was taken June 20. Since then, Spangdahlem’s Boy Scout Troop 165 worked two consecutive weekends to remove the debris to make a home for wildlife. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Kyle Thomas)
