Multinational Heavy Airlift Wing provides support for NATO mission to Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan - Members of the NATO International Military Committee received updates on the ground about the mission in Afghanistan after airlift receiving airlift by the newly formed HAW in one of its three C-17 Globemaster IIIs. The HAW includes NATO member nations Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and the U.S., as well as Partnership for Peace nations Finland and Sweden.
