Bulgarian general visits Spangdahlem

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Senior Airman Nicole Vaughn, 23rd Fighter Squadron, assists Lt. Gen. Simeon Hristov Simeonov, Bulgarian air force commander, with a MBU 20/P combat edge mask custom fitting to ensure a proper seal before an F-16 flight Sept. 19, 2007. It is crucial the mask fits properly for the flyer; if it does not, the mission could be negatively impacted. General Simeonov traveled to Spangdahlem Air Base for an orientation tour.
