Airmen already present on the ground at Port-au-Prince?s main airport help a multi-national aircrew flying out of the Heavy Airlift Wing, Papa Air Base, Hungary, unload a C-17 transport aircraft Jan. 18. The C-17 delivered 15 pallets of material to construct a headquarters for aid workers at the airport. Port-au-Prince is the capital of Haiti, the island nation hit by a massive earthquake Jan. 12. This is the first humanitarian assistance operation flown by the Heavy Airlift Wing since it stood up in July 2009. The wing is a multi-national force made up of Airmen from 12 nations.
