Humanitarian assistance Russia

Military members from the 37th Airlift Squadron and U.S. Air Forces in Europe Public Affairs download firefighting and humanitarian supplies from a C-130J in Moscow Aug. 14, 2010. The supplies are being delivered to Moscow after an official request from the Russian government to the U.S. and at the request of the Department of State. The Department of Defense directed U.S. European Command to provide valuable firefighting equipment that includes firefighting protective equipment and tools to help Russia combat the ongoing wildfires.
