Conserving energy for a brighter future

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- "Professor Perry" (Steve Perry, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron and base energy conservation manager) plays the euphonium (baby tuba) to children at the youth center Oct. 22. Mr. Perry talked to children aged 5 to 12 about energy awareness, and encouraged them to do things such as switch off the lights and turn off televisions when not in use. He also talked to them about the three forms of energy -- light, heat and sound -- and entertained them in different ways to demonstrate this. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
