Skeletons discovered in Washington Square
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- This headless skeleton is one of four skeletons found in October 2010 in Washington Square before the area is landscaped. Although missing its skull, Rob Brooks, Suffolk County Council Archaeology Service excavation supervisor, said this is probably not because of gruesome circumstances. "The skull is missing because it was either subsequently dug or ploughed away in the last couple of hundred years." (Courtesy photo/Mark Howell)
