Sabers modify clothing for wounded warriors

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany —Paula Hagameier, wife of Master Sgt. Shane Hagameier, 52nd Communications Squadron, and Staff Sgt. Joshua Ash, 52nd Operations Group, cut the sides of underwear and bag them so fabric fastener sides can be sewn on the undergarments March 31 at the Airman and Family Readiness Center here. Sew Much Comfort modifies underwear to be used by wounded warriors with limited mobility. Volunteers have been meeting monthly for more than two years and produce about 150 pairs of modified undergarments annually for the wounded warriors at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.
