Sabers modify clothing for wounded warriors

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany —Volunteers measure and cut strips of fabric fastener to be sewn on the sides of underwear for Sew Much Comfort March 31 at the Airman and Family Readiness Center here. Volunteers with the program modify underwear to be used by wounded warriors with limited mobility. Volunteers have been meeting monthly for more than two years and produce about 150 pairs of modified undergarments annually for the wounded warriors at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.
