Hair today, gone tomorrow
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Col. Joseph DeMarco, 100th Operations Group commander, shaves off Capt. Nicholas Zervos’, 100th OG, hair during a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event at the 100th Operations Group auditorium April 7, 2011. According to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website, the foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding research to find cures for childhood cancers. Volunteers for the organization raise funds by taking pledges to shave off their hair. The Century Tanker Committee and spouses raised more than $7,500 for the foundation.
