Hair today, gone tomorrow
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Jeanette Jackson, a barber from the Flightline Barbershop here, removes a chunk of Margaret Albaugh’s, wife of Capt. Clinton Albaugh, 100th Air Refueling Wing plans and programs, hair during a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event at the 100th Operations Group auditorium April 7, 2011. According to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website, the foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding research to find cures for childhood cancers. Volunteers for the organization raise funds by taking pledges to shave off their hair. Along with the pledges, Mrs. Albaugh donated her hair to Locks of Love. The Century Tanker Committee and spouses raised more than $7,500 for the foundation. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Rachel Waller)
