U.S. Air Force and Congolese conduct mass casualty exercise
KINSHASA, Democratic Republic of the Congo – Members of the Democratic Republic of the Congo armed forces quick response force (UMIR) plan an aeromedical evacuation mission during the final exercise of MEDLITE 11, here May 4, 2011.The exercise consisted of a rare earthquake and several of scenarios causing the DRC to activate the UMIR.
