Belgian veteran urges Airmen to never forget WWII

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Maurice Sperandieu, a Belgian World War II veteran, talks with 52nd Fighter Wing Honor Guard members here Aug. 23 about his time assigned to the U.S. Army during the war. Sperandieu came to Spangdahlem with members of a Belgian WWII honor guard team that partners with the 52nd FW Honor Guard for joint events throughout Europe.
