KIGLAI, Rwanda – Rwandan Defense Force members go over a scenario to provide humanitarian assistance to a foreign country while maintaining force protection of their base and assets. The scenario came up on the last day of a week-long event provided an exchange of ideas between USAF Security Forces, 25 RDF officers and three civil police officers attending the event. Two days of classroom activity provided information on the basics of defending an airbase, principles of defense and vehicle searches.
