Wreaths Across America commemorated in U.K.

MADINGLEY AMERICAN CEMETERY, England - Tech. Sgt. Patrick Cripps, 48th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuel support supervisor places a holiday wreath as Tech. Sgt. Matthew Perry, 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron repair and reclamation assistant NCO in charge and 2nd Lt. Reanna Lachner, 48th LRS individual readiness cell officer in charge pay respect Dec. 10, 2011. Members from the 48th Fighter Wing and American Battle Monuments Commission combined to hold a formal ceremony for Wreaths Across America for the first time in the United Kingdom. Madingley is the final resting place for 3,812 American servicemen who perished during World War II and is Britain's only American military cemetery dedicated to that war.
