SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Jared O’Neill, left, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron electrical power production apprentice, and Master Sgt. Chad Haughenbury, U.S. Air Forces in Europe hazardous material manager, ensure the work center’s material safety data sheet binder is labeled and updated during an Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Compliance Assessment Management Program evaluation outside the power production building here April 18. The week-long ESOHCAMP assessment gives the base an idea of how its compares to U. S. Air Force and host-nation regulations regarding environmental and occupational safety. This team is made up of 15 USAFE evaluators who assess Spangdahlem AB’s overall health. The base uses the results from the program to help become USAFE’s most environmentally friendly wing.
