Recon crew receives top award

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Representatives of the crew of Olive 22 receive the 2012 Jerome F. O' Malley Award at the Air Force Association Symposium, Washington, D.C., Sept. 17, 2012, naming them the best reconnaissance crew in the U.S. Air Force for 2012. The crew receiving the award were, second from left, Master Sgt. David Honsinger, 488th Intelligence Squadron, RAF Mildenhall, England; Capt. Tyler Sandberg, 173rd Air Refueling Squadron, Nebraska Air National Guard, Lincoln, Neb.; Tech. Sgt. Carlos Gutierrez, 390th Intelligence Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan; Capt David Buxton, 338th Combat Training Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. and Master Sgt. David Johnston, 38th Reconnaissance Squadron, Offutt AFB. The award was presented by, left, S. Sanford Schlitt AFA Chairman of the Board and, right, Gen. Mike G.
