B-1B makes ‘flying visit’ to RAF Mildenhall
A transient B-1B Lancer from the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., sits on the RAF Mildenhall flightline March 14, 2013. The B-1B Lancer is a supersonic bomber capable of delivering up to a 75,000 pound (34,019 kilogram) payload. The Lancer is used by the U.S. Air Force as a global reach multi-purpose bomber and can rapidly deliver precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary, anywhere in the world, at any time.
