Lajes' coronet liaison ensures smooth transition for transiting aircraft

Members of the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (VMM-365) and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 stopped at Lajes Field during a transatlantic mission in support of a special Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response April 25. The crews are on their way to Moron, Spain, from Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., and MCAS Cherry Point, N.C. Before their arrival, the 65th Operations Squadron coronet liaison, Tech. Sgt. Luke Adams, was their first point of contact at Lajes Field, as he is for all U.S. and foreign fighter and refueling aircraft coming through, to and from Lajes. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
