Global Eagle
The force protection specialists of the 823rd Base Defense Squadron and Commando Parachutiste De l’Air No. 20 board a Royal Air Force 47 Squadron C-130J Hercules at RAF Brize Norton, England, Sept. 11.The force protection specialists concluded Exercise Global Eagle with a combined jump, and earned a set of British Military Parachute Wings. This year, for the first time, force protection specialists from three different nations came together for two weeks to train and exchange tactics, techniques and procedures on a variety of defense capabilities, including hand-to-hand combat, land navigation and weapons familiarization.
