Incirlik celebrates sterling professionals at 2008 annual awards ceremony

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  The 2008, 39th Air Base Wing Annual Award winners were recognized at Incirlik's Combined Club, Jan. 30. The annual awards banquet is held to honor the members of the wing that stood-out above their peers during the 2008 calendar year. Airman of the Year - Senior Airman Samantha Navarrete, 39th Security Forces Squadron; Noncommissioned Officer of the Year - Tech. Sgt. Richard Martin, 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron; Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year - Master Sgt. James Battle, 39 SFS; Company Grade Officer of the Year - Capt. Joel Hearn, Civil Engineering Squadron; Civilian Category 1 of the Year - Shannon Kinser, 39th Force Support Squadron; Civilian Category 2 of the Year - Donna Nemechek, 39 FSS; Volunteer of the Year - Lea Tims, wife of Chap.
