INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Airmen gathered at the 39th Air Base Wing headquarters building for a 9/11 Retreat Ceremony Sept. 11.

The ceremony honored the lives lost 12 years ago during the terrorist attacks. Airmen from the 39th Security Forces Squadron were chosen to lower the flag to represent the first responders that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
