AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- In preparation for their upcoming season, the Italian aerobatic demonstration team Frecce Tricolori performed their routine during a rehearsal April 4 at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Formed in 1961, the group is the Italian air force's premiere aerobatic team. The aerobatic team is comprised of 10 Aermacchi MB-339 PAN aircraft, which are based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, province of Udine.
