U.S. service members honored at Memorial Day event in Suresnes.
SURESNES, France – Two hundred French and U.S. service members and civilians gathered at Suresnes Cemetery, just outside Paris May 25, 2014, to honor fallen Americans who fought and died during the two world wars. After the ceremony, children distributed flowers for attendees to place on graves. This grave is the resting place of Pvt. Frederick J. Kelley from Connecticut, who served in the 302nd Field Artillery 76th Division. He died Feb. 8, 1919, four months before the Treaty of Versailles officially ended WWI. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt.
