LAJES FIELD, Azores -- A U.S. Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker departed from here, June 11, 2014. The Stratotanker refueled a pair of B-2 Spirits over the North Atlantic Ocean. The B-2's conducted training flights and regional familiarization in the U.S. European Command area of operations. The B-2 is a multi-role bomber capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions.
