Combating common enemies
U.S. Air Force and Royal Air Force personnel conducted close air support and combat search and rescue training in the hilly terrain of Hinderclay, England, March 5, 2015. This training was routine for both forces, but to do it all – from the fighter jet searching for downed pilots, to the ground movements, to the helicopter coming in to rescue the survivors, was an opportunity for both nations to train as a joint force.
