USAFE-AFAFRICA announces annual award winners

Gen. Frank Gorenc, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa commander, announced the 2015 Twelve Outstanding Airmen of the Year and USAFE-AFAFRICA Annual Award winners last week. Below is the list of winners.

USAFE-AFAFRICA 12 OAY nominees:
   Airman of the Year:  Senior Airman Derek F. Miles, 39th Air Base Wing
   NCO of the Year:  tech. Sgt. Antoinette K. Jean-Felix, 86th Airlift Wing
   Senior NCO of the Year:  Master Sgt. Troy W. Pietz, 100th Air Refueling Wing

USAFE-AFAFRICA First Sergeant of the Year nominee:
    First Sergeant of the Year:  Senior Master Sgt. Stephen A. Scofield, 86th Airlift Wing

USAFE-AFAFRICA Honor Guard nominees:
    Base Honor Guard Member of the Year:  Staff Sgt. Hector F. Chacon, 31st Fighter Wing
    Base Honor Guard Program Manager of the Year:  Senior Airman Amanda L. Jolly, 86th Airlift Wing

USAFE-AFAFRICA 2015 Annual Award Winners:
    CGO of the Year:  Capt. Bryan M. Ingram, 39th Air Base Wing
    Civilian Category I of the Year:  Ms. Megan M. Lewis, 100th Air Refueling Wing
    Civilian Category II of the Year:  Mr. Ronald C. Tyler, 100th Air Refueling Wing
    Key Spouse of the Year:  Mrs. Carri May Waite, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing
