Maj. Gen. Paul Moga, Kaiserslautern Military Community commander, co-hosted the annual Mayors Forum alongside Mr. Ralf Lessmeister, Kaiserslautern County Commissioner, with local German mayors and community leaders on May 5th in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Brig. Gen. Adrienne Williams, 86th Airlift Wing commander and Brig. Gen. Karen Monday-Gresham, deputy commanding general for the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, were also in attendance.

The leaders gather annually, providing a forum for open dialog between leaders from the U.S. military and local communities to provide updates and address questions and concerns on the local military presence. Topics discussed included construction updates on the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center, military employment of local nationals, military presence in the KMC, and the U.S. German partnership to combat small unmanned aerial systems in Germany. These types of engagements are held to demonstrate mutual trust and open lines of communication with the U.S. military and German government officials.
