Ramstein Air Base, Germany -- Maj. Gen. Paul Moga, Third Air Force commander, visited the 1st Air and Space Communications Operations Squadron to observe their critical mission firsthand. The 1st ACOS is the only squadron of its kind in the Air Force, delivering and defending enterprise and tactical command & control, communications, computers, and coalition intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities to enable the kill chain, anytime, anywhere. During the visit, 1 ACOS demonstrated their use of teamwork and innovation to empower warfighters across multiple combatant commands, including U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Strategic Command, and U.S. Central Command.
