USAFE announces winners of 2005 USAFE Chaplain Service Awards

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (USAFNS) -- U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently announced the winners of the 2005 USAFE Chaplain Service Awards.

The winners are:

Outstanding Large Chapel Organization of the Year: 435th Air Base Wing Chapel, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Outstanding Medium Chapel Organization of the Year: 52nd Fighter Wing Chapel, Spangdahlem AB, Germany.

Outstanding Small Chapel Organization of the Year: 501st Combat Support Wing Chapel, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England.

Outstanding Company Grade Chaplain of the Year: Chaplain (Capt.) David B. Knight, Jr., 65th Air Base Wing Chapel; Lajes Field, Azores.

Outstanding Senior Noncommissioned Officer Chaplain Assistant of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Roger R. Dubois, 435th ABW/HC, Ramstein.

Outstanding Noncommissioned Officer Chaplain Assistant of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Steven P. Pryor, 100th Air Refueling Wing Chapel, RAF Mildenhall, England.

Outstanding Airman Chaplain Assistant of the Year: Airman 1st Class Krystal B. Harper, 501st CSW/HC, RAF Alconbury, England.

Outstanding Chaplain Service Civilian of the Year: Emma J. Doel, 100th ARW/HC, RAF Mildenhall, England.

Outstanding Combat Touch Chapel Program of the Year: 31st FW/HC, Aviano AB, Italy.
